Lahore born SAIMA ASHFAQ from NCA is most noted female calligraphist of Pakistan, who has a long list of trailing exhibitions in her name not only in Pakistan but also abroad. Her magnificent play of colour and experimental work has earned her a rank as a leading calligraphist internationally. She has experimented vastly, from treating oil colours to give them an antique look to painting and all her trials have put forth a new trend. Art is absorbed in Saima’s very roots. Her last solo exhibition “RANG-O-HARF in Ejaz Art Gallery, Lahore distinguished & took her to the pinnacle of top female calligraphic artist of Pakistan.
